This introductory work presents the different facets of textile creation and being a textile designer. It describes the successive stages of project conception and execution for the fashion, home and home environment sectors while at the same time explaining the techniques associated with them. The book pays special attention to current prevailing trends, with a sharp focus on their interpretation, the core of textile designers’ activity. The projects it examines, the work of nearly professional students, are notable case studies. This educational resource will provide valuable assistance to students throughout their studies as well as to young professionals.
