Teresa de la Cal Nicolás worked as a graphic designer and publicist for twenty-three years. In 2016, she embarked on a journey, during which she became excited about ceramics. She took ceramics classes in different countries (India, Australia, Indonesia, Japan). Upon returning to Spain, she exchanged her computer for a potter’s wheel and an electric kiln and started her own ceramics studio, Caliche, where she carries out numerous projects shared with other artists. In her studio she organises exhibitions and work-shops by renowned international ceramicists such as Ana Felipe, Marta Armada and Monika Patuszynska. Teresa has exhibited her work in a wide range of group exhibitions.
